Pain is real but the reasons for them are not always what they seem. In most cases  the source or the root cause of the pain is within Myofascial net of the body. The Myofascial net comprising of the inner layers of dermis, ligaments, tendons, muscles and bones provide the external and internal structural integrity of the body. Modern day understanding of the human body now reveals the myofascial net even influences the working of internal organs including the supply of nutrients and removal of toxins from it.

2500  years ago the Guru Jivaka Kumara developed  Thai Yoga Massage by palpating blockages along Yogic meridians lines and then stretching them with assisted yoga postures. Amazingly this wisdom is proven today with modern technology enabled by MRIs and CAT scans. The yogic meridians developed by him correlate closely to myofascial lines of pull discovered in body using advanced scanning techniques.

At TYMS we merge ancient wisdom with the modern day understanding of human anatomy to provide  clear demonstrable results to bring the body back into natural structural balance. We teach  the principles  of trigger point  therapy and myofascial tensigritty to assess the client’s posture and problems followed by   palpation / mobilization techniques of TYM to make long term positive changes to your clients. These principles are equally applicable when working on yourself as a hatha yoga practitioner or massage therapist of any other modality.

In addition in our ten day course we will focus on working efficiently by using gravity, breath and rhythm to ensure a long and injury free career for you as a Thai Yoga Massage therapist and teach you techniques to work on yourself to achieve postural balance.

The course is conducted by Cyriac who has more than 619 hours of TYM training in Thailand including an instructor certification approved by the Ministry of Education Thailand and is an approved instructor with the Thai Healing Alliance International.
