Classes at the School of Thai Yoga MassageAt the Thai Yoga Massage School we believe that each student must pass strict standards before they can be certified as a Thai Yoga Massage (Nuad-Bo-Rarn) Practitioner. The Massage courses at TYMS have been designed from a background of extensive training methodology of our faculty. All our 30 hour programmes include:-

A 40 minute session of Yoga assanas specifically designed to keep the practitioner in top condition to deliver massage followed by a prayer for healing in Pali.

Students are first shown a live demo of a short set of massage instructions followed by practice. Each student gets a chance to practice their technique with their practice partners and faculty and then gets feedback based on their technique.

Students need to record instructions in an illustrated workbook that is provided to them

Each day, two to three such short massage sequences are demonstrated

Two days of intensive practice sessions are conducted so that one can integrate various sequences together

Each class is concluded with an examination. Some students might be encouraged to practice further under supervision.

Students who feel the need to practice are encouraged to visit our subsequent workshops to refine the skills they have learned.
